Highlights

Thursday, June 11th
Team Orange Crush aka MC Sports 15, 1st Community Bank 12
This was a close one! Both teams gave their all! Ava gave 1st community 3 of their runs, Maddy and Madison brought two runs each. 1st community had some awesome pitchers for their defense. Team Orange Crush did a great job on defense with Macy Wharry catching a pop up to almost get a double play. Once again every girl got a run in and on the board. We really have a great team this year and everyone plays an awesome part. We are sad to see the regular season come to an end. Now on to the Play offs. Keep the wiggles going girls :-)

Minooka 3 Ritchey Orthodontics 12, Minooka 4 Minookas Lion's Club 11
Coach Jon's Minooka Lion's Club came prepared to play scoring 11 runs in the first three inning while turning an incredible triple play. Ritchey Orthodontics fought back under the spectacular pitching of Silvia Koren (1 run in one inning of pitching) and Grace Cantrell (0 runs in two innings of work). Elena Bechard and Sam Bowen provided excellent coverage behind the plate. Great game by both teams!

Tuesday, June 9th
Minooka 3 Ritchey Orthodontics 19, Morris 2 17

MC Sport aka Orange Crush 19, Minooka Lions Club 12
Alyssa Triplett had an awesome RBI for Minooka Lions Club and Leah Dance did a great job of pitching for Minooka Lions Club. Orange Crush did a great job of using their bats today. EVERY girl on our team brought in at least one run, Olivia Jermolowicz scored us three of our runs. Kaleigh Serra did an amazing job for her first time pitching for The Crush. Way to go Orange Crush!!! Let's keep the wiggles going!!!

Monday, June 8th
The Minooka Express (Min 5) snuck by The 1st Community Bank (Min 2) by a narrow score of 15 - 14. This was a make up game from 5/9 With the close score it was an extremely fun and exciting game. The dual pitching threat of Mckenna Cimino (17 K's on the season) & Mackenzie Huey (a ridiculous 30 K's) was much needed for the Minooka Express. Shayla Doody (2 for 3, 1 HR, 2 Runs, 2 RBI) & Rylee Anderson (2 for 3 with 2 Runs & 3 RBI * including the Game winning RBI) brought the much needed thunder for the Minooka Express bats. The 1st Community Bank's Ava's bat was on fire as well. Ava went 3 for 3 with 4 runs scored and tacked on 2 RBI.

Minnoka 3 Ritchey Orthodontics 16, Minooka 5 Express Signs 8

Team MC Sports aka Orange Crush played against Morris team #1 today. Morris team #1 really came to life the second half of the game with 7 of their girls scoring runs and two girls even scoring two runs. Way to go M. Boyle and A. Chaney. Good job girls way to use that bat :-). Orange Crush did an amazing job. Way to wiggle girls!!! Jessica Janicki scored a double and took a pitch to the leg. Olivia Jermolowicz had a great RBI for Team Crush. Both Macy Wharry and Kaleigh Serra were very eager to bunt and even though it didn't always work we love seeing them try. Sydney Gapinski did a great job pitching and Reagan Szambelan got a dbl play.
Orange Crush took the win 14-9!!!

Friday, June 5th
Mc Sports aka Orange Crush took on Ritchey Orthodontics to make up a May 26th Game. Grace Cantrell did a great job pitching and also caught a great pop out for Team Ritchey. Elena Bishard also did a great job at stopping the ball as catcher for Team Ritchey. Orange crush did an amazing job on the field and batting. Reagan Szambelan scored a homerun for Team Crush!!! Payton Anderson played great defence and gave Team Crush two outs. Jessica Janicki had our first Double (almost triple) play of the season!!! Orange Crush took the win 13-9.

The Minooka Express (Min 5) defeated Morris 1 by a score of 13 - 7. The highlights for the Minnoka Express came from Carly Berta's ( 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs) & Mckenna Cimino's offense (3 for 3 with 2 RBI & 2 Runs). Taylor Lopina pitched marvelous for the Minnoka Express (3 K's in 1 INN). Grace Lines tried keeping the score close with glove, and pitching arm for Morris 1.

Thursday, June 4th
1st Community Bank 12, Ritchey Orthodontics 6

Today Minooka MC Sports aka Orange Crush played Minooka Express signs. Minooka Express did a great job of playing the field and catching two great pop outs. Carly Berta took a pitch to the back but made a run out of the play. MacKenzie scored three runs for the Express. Sidney Hines did a great job of brining in two runs of her own for Team Express. Team Orange Crush did a great job Addison Petrinos pitched a great game, along with Reagan Szambelan, Macey Wharry and Olivia Jermolowicz. Also a great homerun by Allie Hall. Orange Crush did a great job of using their bats. Both teams played a great competitive game. Orange Crush took the win 19-14.

Wednesday, June 3rd
The Minooka Express (Min 5) narrowly defeated Channahon 1 by a closer than can be score of 11 - 10. Alette McDonald's starting pitching performance set the tone for the Minooka Express. She didn't allow a single run while striking out 2 batters. Alette's bat was also key in the game, by batting 1000, adding on 3 RBI and scoring 3 runs. Also for the Minooka Express, Sidney Hines was all over the field making plays and a terror at the plate by contributing with 3 RBI. For Channahon 1 Emma's glove and bat were key in keeping this game so close. Emma was perfect at the plate by batting 1000 while adding 2 RBI and scoring 2 Runs.

The Minooka Express (Min 5) defeated Morris 2 by a score of 22 - 19. Rylee Anderson's pitching debut was nothing short of awesome for the Minooka Express. She had 1 K while allowing 0 earned runs. Also for the Minooka Express , Carly Berta continued her dominant performance at the plate by going 2 for 2, adding 3 RBI and crossing the plate for 3 runs. For Morris 2 Alana also went 2 for 2, and tallying 4 RBI and scoring 2 runs.

May 28th
The Minooka Express (Min 5) defeated Channahon 2 by a narrow score of 13 - 11. With the close score it was an exciting and fun game. Saige Campbell was all over the field making play after play with her glove, and deadly with the bat. Saige went 2 for 2 while adding 4 RBI and scoring 3 runs. Ava Szwabowski kept Channahon 2 in the game by also going 2 for 2 at the plate, while tacking on 2 RBI and scoring 3 runs.

May 27th
1st Community Bank 11, Channahon 1 - 7

Monday, May 18th
Team MC Sports went up against Morris #1 tonight. Both teams did a great job! Team MC Sports aka Orange Crush took the victory 14-9. Payton Anderson pitched for the first time this season and she did an amazing job and she also scored us a well earned run. Reagan Szambelan hit an amazing triple. Olivia Jermolowicz had an awesome RBI in the second inning. Macy Wharry led us to victory with her three runs. Jessica Janicki and Avery Rujawitz helped with their two runs. Sydney Gapinski was great at second base. Kaleigh Serra was making great plays behind the plate and contributed a run to the score. Allie Hall did a great job covering first. Finally Briana Samuilis did a great job playing first base and short stop and also contributed a run to the score. WAY TO GO TEAM CRUSH!

Saturday, May 16th
Minooka 5 "Express Signs" defeated Minooka 3 "Ritchey Orthodontics" by a narrow margin of 15 - 9. Shayla Doody had a monster performance at the plate that would have scared the boogeyman. Shayla went 3 for 3 with scoring 3 runs and adding 3 RBI. Mackenzie Huey also added to her pitching stats by striking out 4 more batters while pitching 2 innings. Mackenzie is now at 16 K's for the year. For "Ritchey Orthodontics" Koren went 2 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBI and 1 run.

Thursday, May 14th
This was a great game!!! It was rainy and cold but both teams played through it all. 1st Midwest bank team and Mc sports team did a great job! Team Mc sports aka orange crush took the win with a score of 13-7. EVERY girl from both teams got on base and did there part. This was Jessica Janicki's first game pitching this year and she did amazing for the conditions. Kaleigh Serra was making awesome plays from behind home plate. We had 5 girls bring in two runs a piece way to go Payton Anderson, Allie Hall, Briana Samuilis, Avery Rujawitz, and Sydney Gapinski. Sydney Gapinski also took a pitch to the ribs and showed us how tough she is. Olivia Jermolowicz and Reagan Szambelan did an amazing job pitching as well. Both Macy Wharry and Addison Petrinos played awesome as well getting on base and making plays out in the field. Way to go Team Crush!

Wednesday, May 13th

Minooka Lion's Club 11
Payton Anderson debuted as pitcher and struck out her first batter. Allie Hall scored 3 runs with 2 RBI's. Bree Samuilis had a great slide at home for the wiinning run. Jessica Janicki got a base hit with an RBI and scored 2 runs. Addison Petrinos scored 2 of our 14 runs. Olivia Jermolowicz pitched a great inning and added a run to the score. Avery Rujawitz had great at bats and scored 2 runs. Reagan Szambelan hit a double and pitched the last 2 innings with 5 strikeouts. Macy Wharry with a base hit and RBI. Sydney Gapinski had great at bats to score a run. Kaleigh Serra was amazing behind the plate with a run in the 4th. Likewise Sawyer Latarewicz was a rock star behind the plate for Minooka Lion's Club preventing a run at home plate and also scored 2 runs. Leah Dance with Lion's Club, scored all 3 of her at bats with great hits and aggressive base running.

Tueday, May 12th
Minooka 5 "Express Signs" defeated Channahon1 by a score of 21 - 11. Gaby Alegria's had a monster performance with the bat, led the way for the Express Signs. Gaby scored 3 runs, while adding 4 RBI's with a home run as well. For Channahon1, Chole was perfect at the plate while adding an RBI and a run. She also contributed with her arm with solid pitching.

Minooka5 "Express Signs" squeaked by Morris1 by scoring in the bottom of the 5th inning 13 - 12 in an exciting game. The Express Signs shutdown pitching performance by McKenna Cimino's of 5 K's, 2 INN, 0 ER was an instrumental key in the victory. Her counterpart for Morris1, Grace Lines, was also dominant by pitching 3INN with 6 K's and only giving up 1ER.

Express Signs 25, Minooka Lion's Club 20
Minooka 5 "Express Signs" defeated Minooka 4 "Minooka Lions Club" by a narrow margin of 25 - 20. The Express Signs Taylor Lopina was a monster at the plate going 3 for 3 including a 2B & Grand Slam totaling 7RBIs. For Minooka Lions Club Lyla went 2 for 3 at the plate with 2 RBI and scoring 3 runs.

Team crush had an amazing game and batting was a great part of the win. 15-7.

Thursday, April 30th
Minooka5 "Express Signs" defeated Channahon2 by a score of 20 - 10. Madison Hartsell's dominant pitching performance of 5 strikeouts in 2 innings while adding 2 Runs & 2 RBI's at the plate led the way for the Express Signs. For Channahon2, Gianna scored three runs, and was perfect at the plate by batting 1000.

April 25th
The Minooka Express (Min 5) barely defeated Team MC Sports (Min 1) by a score of 12 - 8. This game was actually played on 5/29. Carly Berta has really turned into a hitting machine as of late. She was perfect at the plate, and tacked on 3 RBI while scoring 3 runs. Mackenzie Huey's arm (4 more K's in 2 INN pitched) kept Team MC Sports at bay, and she now has a ridiculous 20 K's on the season. Allie Hall's scoring 2 runs, and fielding performance was one the many great performances for Team MC Sports in this nail biting game.
