What an exciting game between the Vipers and Channahon #2! The Vipers squeezed out a win with some superb pitching by Izzy Minor. Great defensive plays were made by Elyse O'Dell (outfield), Kelly Kurbis (catcher) and Ashley Medlin (catcher). Jocilyn D'Aguanno had a hot bat and was smart on the bases. The Channahon pitchers were on fire and the team made some awesome defensive plays.

Great pitching performances by Izzy Minor, Elizabeth Resar, and Lexi Van Mill. Hot bats go out to Kelly Kurbis, Kora Hill, Jocilyn D'Aguanno. Defensive plays of the game go to Kendyll Chigi, Izzy Minor, and the game ending diving play by shortstop Sydney Bruinsma.

The Minooka1 Team, the Rowdy Rippers, defeated the Minooka2 Team Monday night at 4 Seasons by a score of 12-8. Nine year old Emma Kurtz led the way going 3/4, hitting 3 RBIâ s, scoring 2 runs, stealing 2 bases, walking once, pitching a solid 3rd inning, striking out 3, and giving up 3 ER. Morgon Feece came through with timely pitching, she pitched 2 innings earning the save, striking out 2, and giving up 1 ER. Ten year old Fabe Roldan smacked a line drive double in the first inning scoring 2 of her 3 RBIâ s. Nine year oldâ s Giavanna Colletti and Paige Zulegar combined for 4 hits and 6 RBIâ s. Genesis McNeal contributed with a solid hit and RBI in late innings to keep the Rowdy Ripperâ s lead going. This win continues the Rowdy Ripperâ s unbeaten streak to 5!
Minooka2 Team honorable mentions: Desiree Anderson went 1/3, with 2 runs, 2SB, 3RBIâ s. Desiree was the anchor of her team smacking a bases loaded clearing double in the first inning! She also pitched a solid two innings! Hailey Sperling went 2/3, with 1SB, 1 run, and 1 RBI! #13, Gianna, went 1/1, with 2BB, 1SB, 1 run, and contributed with 2 RBIs!

The Rowdy Rippers defeated the Morris 1 team by a score of 13-6 Monday night at Four Seasons. Maddie Belluomini earned the win pitching 2 innings, striking out 5, and giving up only 1 run. Alyssa Bucciarelli went 2/3 and had 3 RBI's. Nine year olds Bailey Anders, who earned the save, and Giavanna Colletti combined to pitch a solid 3rd inning. Allison Smith, Fabe Roldon, Paige Zulegar, Abby Hayes, and Genesis McNeal crossed the plate a combined 11 times! Emma Kurtz contributed with a timely hit and RBI in the second inning. The Ripper's bats were alive and the team had a total of 8 hits and 13 runs. Timely hitting and solid pitching contributed to the teams fourth win. The Morris1 team had 8 hits and 6 runs, they scored 5 runs in the third inning!

The Minooka 1 Team, the Rowdy Rippers, defeated the Morris 2 Team by a score of 11-8. Nine year olds Bailey Anders and Paige Zulegar combined to hit 6/6 and driving in 6 RBI's. Made Belluomini went 2/2, drove in 2 RBI's, scored 3 runs, had 4SB, and earned a win pitching a solid inning, striking out 3, and giving up only 1 run. Nine year olds Gia Colletti and Allison Smith combined to pitch 1 1/3 innings striking out 3! Gia earned the save. Emma Kurtz contributed with 2 SB. The Morris 2 team had 5 hits and 8 runs.

Minooka 1 Rowdy Rippers 7, Channahon 2 4
The Minooka 1 Team, the Rowdy Rippers, defeated the Channahon 2 Team, 7-4. Morgon Feece pitched 2 scoreless innings and struck out 4 to earn her second win; Morgon has pitched 4 scoreless innings and has 10K's this season! Fabe Roldan went 2-2 with 2 RBI's, 1 Run, and made an unassisted double play with bases loaded and 1 out in the second inning! Paige Zulegar continued her hitting streak with a 2 run double in the third inning. Made Belluomini earned her second save pitching another scoreless 4th inning. Nine year old, Bailey Anders, pitched a solid 3rd inning to help maintain the Rowdy Ripper's lead! Nine year old Genesis McNeal contributed with a RBI single late in the third inning.

Minooka 1 Rowdy Rippers 5, Minooka 2 4
The Rowdy Rippers ripped their way to a 5-4 win this Saturday versus the Minooka 2 Team! Abby Hayes stole home on an errant pick off attempt to tie the game in the bottom of the 4th inning. Paige Zulegar came up with the game winning hit with bases loaded and 1 out in the bottom of the 4th! Morgan Feece earned the win with 2 IP, 6K, and no earned runs! Notable 9 year olds, Giavanna Colletti and Bailey Anders, combined to pitich the 3rd inning giving up 2 earned runs, 1 unearned run, and 2K! Made Belluomini earned the save pitching a solid 4th inning! The win was a total team effort!
Kan Vending Vipers 17, Morris Countryside Pools 7
The Kan Vending Vipers started the season with a 17-7 win against Morris Countryside Pools. Congrats go out to Izzy Minor, Kendyll Chigi, and Sydney Bruinsma for their great job pitching. Both teams did a great job and it looks like it's going to be a fun season!
